Requires permission to manage property rules and the rules feature. Rule configuration is separate from module autonomy and action permissions.
Steps
-
Open Automation Rules and inspect existing rules for the same event. Choose New Rule or Edit on the intended rule.
-
Optionally use Start from Template, then enter Rule Name, priority, description and Trigger Event.
-
Use + Add Condition to specify field, comparison and value when the action should run only under particular conditions. Add each required action with + Add Action and fill its task or notification fields.
-
Decide whether Activate rule immediately is appropriate, then save/create the rule. Confirm it appears with the intended active state and exact event/conditions/actions.
-
Use the rule’s activation control to disable or enable it, Duplicate to start a separate rule, or Delete to remove it after reviewing the confirmation. Verify the resulting list; a duplicate can cause duplicate operational actions if both are active.
-
For completed/cancelled task retention, set Task Archive Settings days and blocked hours, choose Save, and confirm the stored values. This setting is separate from an event-driven rule.
