Steps

  1. Select the hotel or shortlet property. Open Property Details, choose Policies & controls, and find Bookings from ChatGPT. If it is absent, check that you have permission to edit property details for this property.

  2. Under Property permission, read the current participation terms. If you are authorised to offer the property under its current booking policies, select the acknowledgement and choose Enable property participation. The acknowledgement is not selected for you.

  3. Check the saved participation and readiness. Property participation recorded means permission was saved; remaining blockers still apply. If bookings from ChatGPT are switched off, participation is saved for when the channel is enabled. Opting in does not itself make rooms bookable.

  4. To stop participating, choose Withdraw participation and check the updated state. Withdrawal stops new bookings through the channel; existing reservations remain valid and remain the property's responsibility.

  5. If an update is uncertain, refresh the current state before trying again. If consent changed, refresh and acknowledge the current terms. Changing property requires checking that property's own participation and readiness.

Participation controls do not change room availability, rates or cancellation policies. Manage those in the booking engine. See the guest reservation procedure for what guests review before confirming.
