Prepare the encoder using your property’s installation details before setting up room key cards.
Steps
- Sign in to Staycore Encoder, select the property, connect the encoder, and open Commission locks.
- Choose Refresh to load the property’s saved settings and rooms, then Read encoder to display its device number.
- Open Hotel settings. For an existing installation, retain its saved hotel identity and card records. Ask your installer to confirm the installation details before changing them.
- If registration is required, open Encoder registration and enter the registration information supplied by your installer. Choose Verify and register encoder, review the device, and confirm.
- Review the hotel timezone and settings with your installer. Choose Save hotel settings when the details are correct.
- Choose Done, then Refresh, and confirm the saved property setup before selecting rooms.
If registration is interrupted, reopen the original setup and follow its recovery action before trying another registration. Do not replace an existing hotel identity to resolve a connection problem.
