Steps

  1. In Staycore Encoder, resolve Recovery required before another write. Review the named operation and physical card.

  2. If the app cannot check the prior operation, retry the status check. If it asks for a physical-outcome decision, choose Verified not written only after establishing that the card was not written.

  3. If a hotel-card write may have occurred without verified final access records, choose Write may have occurred — destroy card, complete the displayed confirmation, physically destroy that card, and only then confirm I destroyed the card when requested. This does not issue access.

  4. To cancel or report an existing credential lost, select the correct credential and use More actions → Cancel keycard or Report lost. Follow the specific cancellation/lost-card instructions shown.

  5. If a cancel card must be written and tapped on a lock, perform the physical tap on the intended lock and wait for its expected response. Only then choose Lock tap confirmed. Check the completed result before considering that flow finished.

Recovering a saved receipt does not automatically repeat the encoder write. A written cancel card still needs its required lock acknowledgement; recording a lost status alone does not prove physical blocking.
