Creating drafts requires permission to create documentation; shared-standard publishing and later editing use their own permissions.

Steps

  1. Open Documentation Hub → Templates. Browse Published catalog, preview the selected template and choose Use template.

  2. In Use published template, enter Draft title and Document type, then create the property draft. Edit it for local operations and follow review/publication.

  3. To author a reusable business-wide template or standard, use New template or New standard, supply its title/type and create the draft. Review its business-wide applicability before publishing.

  4. For a local variation on a shared standard, open the standard document and choose Create property addendum. Supply Addendum title and Local variation; the result is a linked property draft, not a replacement of the business standard.

  5. For a translation, choose Translate, enter the language code such as fr or pt-BR, then create the translation draft. Review translated terminology and steps before approval and publication.
