Steps
-
Open Inventory → Dashboard, select a detailed view and choose its Report. Apply the filters needed for the question you are answering.
-
Select Matrix, choose a row grouping and, if useful, a column grouping. Available groupings depend on the report: examples include item, location, category, supplier, status, movement, date and other property.
-
Select a measure, such as document count, quantities, outstanding quantities, recorded amounts or count differences. Read the unit and cost basis. Quantity groups remain separated by item and unit; amounts in different currencies are not combined. Select one count period before totaling its closing balances.
-
Inspect the chart and matrix cells. If the report asks for narrower filters, reduce the date range or select a location/item; the dashboard does not silently drop excess cells. Switch to Table for individual records, sorting, column selection and pagination.
-
Choose Export CSV. A table export includes all matching records, not just the visible page; a matrix export retains its grouping. The same permissions, filters, unit labels and financial restrictions apply to the exported data. Wait for the export result and retain the reporting scope with the file.
