Steps

  1. Select your property, open Inventory, and choose the Dashboard icon under Review and history. The Inventory dashboard workspace keeps the existing sidebar groups and opens Summary.

  2. Check the property, reporting scope and last-updated time. Only reports allowed by your current membership, permissions and enabled services appear. Replenishment submitters see their own requests; users with permission to approve inventory changes can review the property's queue. Transfer financial access is checked separately at both properties. Unavailable information is not a zero balance.

  3. Select a summary card to inspect its records, or choose Stock, Activity, Purchasing, Transfers, or Counts. Use Report to select the dataset within that view. Stock lists include quantities, units, locations, reservations and costs; purchasing lists include orders, receipts linked to replenishments and supplier invoice matching. Replenishment details show the recorded decision maker, time and rejection reason where applicable. Activity covers movements and preparation; transfer reports distinguish handovers, shipments, release and reconciliation.

  4. Use the filters offered for that report. Search by item or reference; choose a location or status directly. Open Filters for item, category, supplier and other supported choices. Applied filters remain visible when the panel is closed. Activity starts with the last 30 days. Change its date range for posted activity. Stock includes expired batches, stock expiring in 7, 30 or 90 days, and batches with no expiry recorded. Depleted batches are excluded from expiry risks.

  5. Open a record's details, then follow its workflow link if available. Approving, receiving, correcting stock and closing counts still happen in their existing workflows. Use Back to dashboard to restore the same report and filters; the return link is available only in the property that opened it.

  6. Choose Refresh to reload the reports. An offline or failed report does not establish the latest balance: cached results are labelled stale, and missing costs remain unavailable. Check the refreshed timestamp before relying on the result. Open About this report for its date rules, cost basis and scope.

Current stock and outstanding work are current snapshots, even when an activity date range is selected. Stock recorded at an inactive storage location remains visible; disabling the location does not remove its stock. Restocking normally compares each item's total available stock across property locations with its reorder level; an empty secondary location alone does not create a property restocking alert. Selecting a location compares that location's available quantity instead. Pending replenishments and unreceived orders do not increase stock. Available quantities exclude active transfer reservations. Property-transfer arrivals awaiting release have not yet posted to destination stock and must not be deducted a second time. Within-property issues already change both location balances; Awaiting arrival confirmation describes the remaining handover step.

Current stock value is an estimate using current item costs. Recorded movement costs and closed-period valuations have their own stated cost basis; a movement-cost total is not automatically a consumption-only expense. Ledger activity uses the saved business date, falling back to effective date and then creation date; document dates are labelled separately. Choose one saved closed period for historical closing balances rather than adding overlapping periods together. Quantity totals retain their units and never add kilograms to litres or pieces. Food & Beverage reporting context is retained on supported links; property-wide reports identify their scope instead of claiming outlet attribution.
