Steps

  1. Select the property you are working at and open Inventory. Check the property name above What would you like to do?. If no property is selected, use the property selector first.

  2. Use Overview to see all available tasks, or choose a sidebar group: Receive and order, Move stock, Count and check, Review and history, or Items and setup. Only groups containing a task you can access are shown. The Task group selector offers the same groups and All tasks.

  3. Choose an icon with its task label. For an explanation, select Show help; select Hide help to return to short labels. Use Find a task for words such as delivery, count, waste or recipe. If nothing matches, clear the search or choose All tasks.

  4. Follow the selected task's instructions and check its prerequisites. A shortlet property's Inventory chooser supports Move between properties and a dashboard limited to authorised transfer reports; it does not make the hotel's stock-receiving, counting or setup screens available. A transfer-only user can use the chooser without access to other inventory work.

  5. If no tasks are available with your current access, ask your manager to check your role, property membership and enabled services. An empty task list is not evidence that stock is zero. Changing the URL does not bypass a task's access requirements.

  6. When switching property, confirm the new property name and choose from its available tasks again. Group and search choices are refreshed for that context. In Food & Beverage, links to shared stock counts and stock tools preserve the outlet and reporting dates within the same property; changing property clears that reporting context.

Opening a task does not submit a draft or apply a stock change. Check the task's review and success messages to know what was saved, what awaits approval and what changed.
