Steps

  1. Select the property and open Stock counts, or choose More → Stock counts in Food & Beverage. Select the outlet when using the F&B workspace.

  2. Choose New stock count, set Frequency and Counting method, and check the dates. For a custom count, enter Start and End. Choose Start count, review the dates and counting method, then confirm Start count.

  3. Use Stock count to select an existing count. Enter each physical quantity under Counted. Entries save when you leave the field; Save counts saves remaining edits. Use More actions → Create count sheet when another count sheet is needed.

  4. Review Items counted, Expected value, Counted value, Difference and Needs checking. Use Show stock movements to inspect opening stock and usage. Count all items and resolve the issues shown beside the close action.

  5. Open Add closing note if a note is needed, then choose Close count, review the summary and confirm Close count. Check Stock count closed. and the closed status in Stock count.

Closing preserves completed reviews when the figures are unchanged. A changed physical count, expected stock quantity, or item cost reopens the difference for review. Shared F&B count and stock-tool links retain the selected outlet and reporting dates; switching properties clears that context.
