Review waiting work and record the appropriate decision without losing the context of the original automation run.

Before you start

Use a staff account with the required approval and source-record access. The person requesting or authoring a review cannot provide its independent approval.

Review a workflow branch

  1. Open Automations → More → History and expand Independent workflow reviews, or open the relevant run.
  2. Choose Inspect workflow review. Read the saved Inputs being reviewed and the branch that the decision permits.
  3. Enter a Review reason, select the review acknowledgement and choose Approve workflow step or Reject workflow step.
  4. For an expired request, choose Request a fresh review and review the replacement before deciding.

The workflow can follow the configured outcome of that decision. This review does not itself authorise a payment or confirm physical work.

Review an operational command

  1. In the waiting run, choose Review command approval.
  2. Inspect Prepared inputs and expected impact and the Approval chain and existing decisions.
  3. Enter Decision reason, acknowledge the reviewed inputs, impact and recovery plan, then choose Approve reviewed command or Reject command.
  4. If Fresh identity verification required appears, the named publishing staff member reviews the command and selects Verify identity.
  5. After the required approvals and verification are in place, explicitly resume the original run.

Expected outcome

Staycore records the decision against the reviewed step. Command approval or identity verification alone does not execute the operation.

If the saved review changed

Reload it using the displayed recovery action, inspect the current inputs and make a fresh decision. Do not reuse a decision based on an older version.
