Steps

  1. In Occupancy intelligence → Settings → Approved room devices, select the existing device and verify its physical room, provider device ID and guest-facing name.

  2. Clear Approve this device for guest control after verifying its physical addressing, then choose Save device. The saved entry should show staff setup; the device remains configured but is no longer offered for guest control.

  3. If the revision changed or the result is uncertain, use Reload current settings and verify the existing device before retrying. Withdrawing approval cancels queued commands; it does not reverse commands already dispatched or physically remove the device.

  4. A revision conflict requires another read and review.
