Create a rule that responds to an event, checks conditions, and carries out the actions you choose.
Steps
- Select the property and open Automations. Choose New automation and select the event that starts the rule.
- Open the conditions card and choose Add condition. Select the field, comparison, and value. Choose All conditions when every condition must match.
- Use Add step to add each action. Select the property’s service, room, template, or other resource required by that action.
- Arrange the actions in the order they should run. Use Canvas or Form to review the same draft.
- Choose Save draft, then Review and test. Enter representative values under Test event values and choose Test saved draft.
- Review the result and resolve validation messages. Check that examples both inside and outside your conditions produce the expected match.
- Review the trigger, conditions, timing, and actions. Select the review acknowledgement and choose Activate automation.
Simulation evaluates the rule without carrying out its actions. After activation, use Run history to inspect actual outcomes.
