Orbita uses Access Control → Orbita cards and Staycore Orbita Encoder. Keep the desktop profile matched to the property’s saved installation. CLockSDK5.6 supports guest cards; staff and housekeeping issuance is offered only for an already configured D8 system.

Steps

  1. Open Orbita cards for the correct property and review its configuration and supported card types. For a guest, select Guest booking and choose Create guest draft. Room scope, dates and payment eligibility come from the booking.

  2. For a supported D8 staff or housekeeping card, select Card purpose, Staff member, the current Approved access assignment, and required active tasks. Review the authorised rooms and property access window before creating the draft.

  3. Sign in to Staycore Orbita Encoder, select the same property and matching profile, then open Guest keys, Staff keys or Housekeeping and Refresh. Select the exact draft and the authorised room where the app requests it.

  4. Review room scope, validity and the presented card. Follow the profile’s blank-card or explicit contents-replacement confirmation, then choose Encode and verify card. Keep the card in place through readback and Staycore recording.

  5. Confirm Card encoded, readback verified and recorded in Staycore. before handover. If the result is uncertain, retain the original card and open Recovery in the same desktop account and property.

  6. Choose Recover recorded operation to read the original card or recover the saved confirmation. Cancel before writing is available only while the prepared operation has not been dispatched. Recovery does not rewrite the card; an unresolved write must remain under review.
