Commissioning requires the property’s configured Digi installation and authorised hardware-management, provisioning and card-issuance access. Card readback and physical door acceptance are separate results.
Steps
-
In Staycore Digi Encoder → Property setup, review the existing hotel identity and reserved unused card-number range. Read setup from an existing guest card can populate review fields without saving them. Confirm the property and room before Save property settings; register a new Digi property only when it actually uses Digi TEMIC locks.
-
Select each Staycore room, enter its verified building, floor and native room address, then choose Save room mapping. Preserve the existing installation’s identity and numbering rather than guessing from room labels.
-
In Commissioning, place the hotel’s original Reset card on the encoder, confirm its ownership and choose Read and register original Reset card. This reads the card without changing it. Stop on an identity mismatch and have the supplier verify the matched card set.
-
On the web, open Access Control → Digi cards and create the required Reset, Room Setting or Time draft. Confirm the paired Reset profile, exact room or planned property-local minute shown for that card. Keep original service cards off the writer.
-
In the desktop Encode cards tab, refresh and select the web draft. Encode a separate designated card for each purpose with Encode selected card, then wait for verified readback and recording. Label each Room Setting card for its intended room.
-
At the intended door, follow the supplier’s sequence: present Reset, confirm its response, then that room’s Room Setting card, and present Time at its exact planned minute. A Time card carries a fixed clock value; create a fresh draft if delayed. Verify guest correct-room access, wrong-room rejection, expiry and intended staff access before expanding setup. Record physical checks separately; using the same hotel identity does not prove all earlier keys are revoked.
-
For an interrupted setup-card write, keep the original card and use the Digi Recovery controls in the preceding procedure. Encoding deadlines authorise writing; they do not establish door acceptance or revoke already-written setup cards.
