Steps

  1. Select the hotel property and open Hotel Services → Inbox. Reception wake-up calls appears when the catalogue or service requests include the wake-up call service. Reading requires permission to view services; acknowledging calls requires permission to manage services.

  2. Choose Refresh calls and review overdue calls and the next seven days in the hotel's local time. Verify the room, scheduled time and state. Use Next calls and Earliest calls when offered to move through the queue.

  3. For a due call, choose Acknowledge call for room on the intended room's row. Acknowledgement is offered only when the current call is due and has not already been acknowledged. Review the refreshed row: it may show Reception acknowledged, while an overdue or in-progress call keeps that more urgent state. The acknowledgement action is no longer offered for the acknowledged call.

  4. Deliver the wake-up service, then choose Open service request and record progress and completion using its offered service actions. Acknowledging the queue entry alone does not mark the service completed or prove that the guest answered.

  5. If the schedule needs review, verify the guest's current stay, room and service schedule before taking action. A changed room, cancelled or changed schedule, closed request, unavailable queue or unconfirmed acknowledgement requires Refresh calls and a review of the original service request before retrying.
