Steps

  1. Open and unlock Order Hub for the intended outlet and operator.

  2. Choose Open customer display to open in another browser window, then place that window on the customer-facing screen.

  3. Add or change items in Order Hub and verify that the display shows the correct outlet, items and total. The display follows the same browser's POS state; opening the URL on an unrelated device does not pair that device with the till.

  4. Keep the POS and display windows open during the sale. Check the displayed payment state and the POS receipt outcome when payment completes. Charged to room acknowledges the transfer to the guest folio; it does not confirm that the guest has paid that balance.
