Inspect an automation’s actual results and recover interrupted work through the original run.

Before you start

Select the property and use a role with access to the automation and the operational records involved. Recovery actions require permission to manage the automation.

Review a run

  1. Open Automations → More → History. Use Run status and the page controls to find the run.
  2. Review Overview for the selected reporting period, then open the relevant run.
  3. In Run details, confirm the workflow, subject and whether it is a Production or Sandbox run.
  4. Inspect Steps and Receipt details. Distinguish waiting, skipped, failed, blocked and uncertain outcomes before taking action.
  5. If you need evidence, open Inspect and export execution trace, choose Load trace for export, review the page and choose Download this trace page. Use the trace page controls for additional results.

Recover or cancel

  1. Correct the cause shown in the run. Complete any required approval or identity verification.
  2. Choose Retry failed steps or Resume run, as offered. Review and confirm the action.
  3. To stop unfinished work, choose Cancel run and confirm cancellation.

Expected outcome

Recovery stays attached to the original run and retains completed results. Cancellation does not reverse actions already carried out.

If an outcome is uncertain

Check the actual payment, reservation, message or provider receipt before retrying. An uncertain outcome cannot safely be treated as a failed action. Access to an automation does not automatically grant access to every underlying record.
