Run a published automation against registered test records in an isolated property and inspect its actual test receipts.
Before you start
Set up the sandbox property, including authorised staff, registered subjects and dedicated provider test accounts. Copy or create the automation there, review its test mappings and publish it.
Review and start
- Select the sandbox property and open Automations → More → Settings → Sandbox.
- Use Find published workflow, then choose Test workflow.
- Select Test subject. For a subject other than Test property, also select the matching Registered test reference.
- Choose Review sandbox run. Inspect the selected property, published workflow, subject and policy.
- Choose Start reviewed sandbox run.
- Select Inspect run and receipts to follow the steps and inspect the test records or provider results.
Expected outcome
The run uses the registered sandbox scope and permitted test accounts. It can perform actual actions within that test environment. Core AI usage follows the selected property’s allowance.
If the run is blocked
Check the test policy, publishing staff, registered subject, selected connection and environment. Resolve the stated issue and recover through the original run where offered. Production records cannot be substituted for registered test records.
For sample-only walkthroughs that do not perform operational actions, use Test → Preview or Advanced simulation instead.
