Use the profile already configured for the hotel’s hardware. Switching the software profile does not convert a lock. CLockSDK5.6 setup-card issuance is unavailable; its hotel authorisation and physical commissioning follow the supplier’s procedure. Staycore does not issue an Orbita Reset card.
Steps
-
In Staycore Orbita Encoder → Property setup, select the profile matching the saved installation. Review the existing hotel authorisation and issuance configuration, then choose Save selected profile configuration only for that installation.
-
Choose the Staycore room, enter its verified native addresses and any supported common-door mapping, then Save room mapping. Choose Check connected encoder and resolve configuration or supplier-authorisation errors before issuing cards.
-
For an already configured D8 system with commissioning access, open Access Control → Orbita cards on the web. Choose Room Setting, select the mapped standard room, review the exact address, confirm use of a designated blank and create the draft.
-
In the desktop Room Setting view, refresh, select that draft and choose Encode and verify card. Wait for verified readback and recording, label the card for the room, then present it only at the intended lock according to the supplier’s procedure.
-
Create a Time draft on the web for a whole minute within the next 30 minutes in the property timezone. In desktop Time cards, select it and encode before its displayed deadline. Present it at the lock at the exact stored minute; prepare a fresh card if the planned time is missed.
-
Verify the lock’s physical response and an eligible guest card’s correct-room, wrong-room and expiry behavior. Record those results separately from encoding history. Room Setting and Time cards do not prove that older keys have been cancelled.
-
For an interrupted setup-card write or confirmation, preserve the original card and use Recovery → Recover recorded operation. Recovering a verified receipt after its write deadline does not authorise another write.
