Requires permission to view customer information to read settings and permission to send campaigns to change them. Messages require a ready sender, verified central billing, approved templates, property WhatsApp permission and enough WhatsApp credit at sending time.

Steps

  1. Open Engagement → Settings → WhatsApp engagement for the intended property. Enable Offer WhatsApp signup on QR menus and enter the Property privacy notice URL. Read the Guest consent notice: permission covers this property and its outlets, not every property in the account.

  2. Select approved templates in the exact Template language, using Use recommended templates if needed. A custom review template can place the guest's review link in its single body value. Templates that need unsupported inputs are not available for the automated journey.

  3. Set the selected journey steps: Thank-you and review request, One review reminder, and Return invitation. Review delay is measured in hours after visit capture; reminder delay is measured in hours after the review request is delivered; return delay is measured in days after capture. Review/reminder delays accept 1–720 hours and return delay 1–365 days.

  4. Choose Send visit follow-ups automatically when ready, then Save WhatsApp settings. Saving template imports alone does not enable this toggle. The reminder requires the review step and uses the original invitation's review link. A submitted review stops its reminder; a new visit stops the previous return invitation.

  5. Check WhatsApp engagement settings saved. and review later message status in Communication Hub. Every send rechecks consent, sender readiness and available WhatsApp credit. Disabling capture or a journey step does not reverse recorded opt-outs or prove an already queued message was delivered.
