Requires website publish/domain permissions. Keep DNS access available for the custom domain.

Steps

  1. Open the site’s Settings and releases. Review identity/contact/SEO settings, choose Save settings, then use the publishing panel’s readiness checklist.

  2. Under Domains, add the intended hostname and decide whether it should be primary. Apply the displayed DNS and certificate-validation records at the domain provider.

  3. Refresh domain verification and SSL status through the available domain actions. Only treat the custom domain as ready when verification and certificate status succeed; saving a hostname does not configure DNS.

  4. Generate the saved-draft preview and inspect required routes. Fix critical issues; review warnings and optionally enter Release note before choosing the publish action.

  5. Verify the live public domain, navigation, booking/dining entry points and page layout after publication. Guest credentials and live mutations are blocked in draft preview, so it is not a payment/booking test.

  6. To restore a prior release, use Release history, compare the intended revisions, select Choose a release to restore, inspect Rollback preview and confirm Rollback release. Verify the new live release; rollback creates a new release from the selected snapshot.
