Create a PULMOS guest card draft, write it in Staycore PULMOS Encoder, and confirm the recorded result before handing over the card. Use these steps when Access Control provides the PULMOS cards workspace.

Before you begin

Select the correct property and use an account permitted to issue door access. Confirm the guest's reservation, assigned room, access dates, and payment eligibility. The required door mappings and encoder setup must be in place.

Steps

  1. Open the guest's Access panel in Front Desk and choose Create RFID draft. Follow the message directing you to the property's configured encoder. Alternatively, open Access Control → PULMOS cards → Prepare a card draft, choose Guest under Card purpose, select Guest booking, and choose Create guest draft.
  2. Check the guest, room, stay dates, and required doors in Recent card drafts. A saved draft has not yet written a card.
  3. Open the property's configured Windows encoder. Sign in, select the property and lock family, choose Open property, then Refresh drafts on Card drafts.
  4. Select the same guest's draft and review its rooms and validity. If Optional room for this card is needed for the presented card's room scope, select an authorised room and check the resulting preview before continuing.
  5. Place the designated card on the reader and choose Encode and verify. Confirm the card and access details, then leave it on the reader until verification finishes.
  6. Refresh Access Control and check Encoding history and recovery and Recorded physical cards. Confirm Encoded and recorded for the operation and review the physical card's status and scope before handing it over.
  7. Give the guest the card and the property's room-entry instructions. If multiple cards or doors are needed, check that the completed card set covers the intended access.

Expected outcome

The card's verified result is recorded for the guest and authorised rooms. Current reservation and access conditions are checked again during encoding.

If a card cannot be issued

Resolve the displayed reservation, payment, room, or door-setup issue, then refresh the guest's access and draft list. If the required doors need different card workflows, review their full scope in Access Control. A card marked Awaiting readback or Needs recovery must stay with staff while you recover the write.
