Use automation alerts to find waiting or blocked work and record which occurrences your team has reviewed.

Before you start

Select the relevant property. You need access to the automation and its underlying records to investigate an alert.

Review an alert

  1. Open Automations → More → Settings → Alerts.
  2. Set Alert status to Open, Acknowledged or All.
  3. Read the alert reason, occurrence count and latest occurrence time.
  4. Choose Open run to inspect the original workflow, steps and results. Correct the cause or complete the required review in that run.
  5. Return to the alert and choose Acknowledge reviewed alert after inspecting the displayed occurrences.
  6. Use Refresh alerts and the page controls to check for further work.

Expected outcome

Acknowledgement records that the displayed alert occurrences have been reviewed. It does not retry the workflow, approve a command or mark unfinished work complete.

If the alert appears again

Review the new occurrence and the original run. A fresh occurrence may need attention even after an earlier one was acknowledged. If the cause is a work limit or a prolonged wait, review the automation limits. Use the original run’s recovery actions once the cause is resolved.
